Fine wines such as the Roero Arneis, the Nebbiolo, the Dolcetto, the Favorita, and the Barbera are produced by the sunny vineyards.
On the fertile plain are grown pears (among which the Madernassa pear stands out) and apples, as well as cereals, corn and vegetables, among which tomatoes, peppers, celery, onions, garlic, and the delicious thistle, the fundamental ingredient of the traditional “Bagna Caoda”.
